Studio photos of vehicles for listings and hire classes, charged per render

The Studio photos module turns a vehicle photo into a studio version: the background removed and the car set on the organisation's backdrop. It works per photo or for all photos of a vehicle at once, for a sale listing or as a hire-class image, and each render is charged separately.

Who it is for

Businesses that offer vehicles for sale or hire and want to show a polished image per vehicle or per class.

Studio photos is an optional module charged per render. The original is always kept.

What it does

  1. 1. Studio version per photo

    From a vehicle's photo gallery, a studio version is requested per photo, for interior and exterior shots.

  2. 2. All photos at once

    All photos of a vehicle in one go, with progress and a price line from your own subscription.

  3. 3. Original and studio photo side by side

    The gallery shows both side by side, with the state of the request and the reason when a render fails.

  4. 4. Your own backdrops

    Standard backdrops or one you upload, with the choice of default and the setting of floor line and framing. A sale listing can pick its own backdrop.

  5. 5. Listing and hire class

    Studio photos are used in a sale listing, the first as the cover, or as the image of a hire class.

  6. 6. Shooting from the app

    The mobile app guides the shots with a fixed list of five angles.

  7. 7. Processed on our own servers

    Image processing runs on Tavuni's own servers, without an external image service; the models are not fetched from outside while working.

What it does not do

  • The original is never overwritten; the studio photo is a separate derivative.
  • A studio photo can never serve as evidence for an inspection, damage or claim.
  • No colour correction: the car appears as it was photographed.
  • Outdoor, night and convertible photos are not supported yet.
